From late October 2026, Life’s Too Short will be welcoming private functions and events at our new home at 42 Bridge Road, Richmond.
Whether it’s a birthday, celebration, corporate gathering, wine event or something completely your own, we’d love to help you create an occasion to remember—with great food, fabulous wine and the warm, personal hospitality Life’s Too Short is known for.
Our new venue will also be home to our bespoke micro-distillery, Everything But Gin, opening up even more possibilities for unique events and experiences.

While Life’s Too Short no longer operates as a regular bar, this isn’t quite goodbye.
From our new home at 42 Bridge Road, Richmond, we’ll be opening our doors from time to time for private gatherings, special events and the occasional pop-up bar opening.

How to Find Us
We recommend using public transport or rideshare where possible.
By Tram: The 48 and 75 trams run along Bridge Road, with stops just a short walk from us.
By Train: West Richmond Station is approximately a 10-minute walk away, with North Richmond Station also nearby.
By Bus: Several bus routes service Richmond and the surrounding area, with connections to Bridge Road.
By Car: Limited on-street parking is available in Bridge Road and the surrounding streets. Please check parking signs carefully, as restrictions vary.
Rideshare / Taxi: Simply enter 42 Bridge Road, Richmond VIC 3121 as your destination.
